Happy 1st Birthday Madelyn!

A year ago today our stubborn baby who opted to be born by C-section surprised everyone when she was a girl. From the first moment we saw you we were overjoyed and knew our family was complete. It's been an adventurous year including showing a house, selling a house, changing daycare's, moving into a 2 bedroom apartment and building our dream home.

Our baby girl only 2 hours old.
Madelyn enjoyed the peacefulness of the hospital.

Dressed up for a chilly November walk.

Baptized at 1 month old with our family pastor who baptized, confirmed and married mom and dad.

Every morning Maddy wakes up her brothers go into the closet (aka her bedroom) and say, "Good morning beautiful!"

Maddy added to the challenge of getting a good family photo.

Focused on opening Christmas presents.

Prefers hats over headbands.

Didn't hate tummy time as much as her brothers.

Started eating cereal at four months in her bumbo seat.

Considered safe from her brothers in the exersaucer .

Madelyn first experienced carpet at 6 months old.

Maddy's first swimsuit which she wore playing in the apartment pool with her brothers.
Another family photo gone awry.

Loves to swing.

Like her brothers, she was enthralled by Baby Einstein.

Enjoys picnics at Papa's cabin

Likes going out to eat and wearing fun hats.

Enjoying her first Smores at the cabin.

Collin is either loving her or tackling her.
Collin showing Maddy how to ride on the firetruck - down a hill none the less.
"Fishing for Maddy"

Loved Corn on the Cobb from Auntie Erika's crop.
A cage Dillon made for her at the Children's Museum.
Soaking up the sun.
A true water baby.
Big girl playing at the playground.
Learning to crawl at 8.5 months.
Loves her daddy.

Playing Beyblades at Dillon's birthday party.

Loves zooming Hot Wheels around with her brothers.
A Badger Fan of course.
Eleven months and very close to walking and loves to climb up on things.

or into things.
Love you, Madelyn Ann.
