Every year we head down to the Stadium to meet the players during the Family Day at Camp Randall. This year we enjoyed a 90 degree day down on the field during while running around and getting autographs.
We took part in Ride the Drive which they shut down a handful of streets to cars and only allowed bikes access to the road. We started down East Washington and headed toward the Capitol.
Around the course there were stages with bands and all kinds of tents with free bike friendly demos and treats.
Heading down North Shore Drive where this part was called "family drive".
Here there were kid friendly activities as well as the Oscar Meyer Weiner mobile.
Dillon received a metal for wearing his bike helmet while riding his bike. This was definitely the highlight of the ride.
Heading through the tunnel on John Nolen Drive. We did enjoy the event but after riding the course and seeing all the police officers I wondered how much this cost the tax payers of Madison?
